About Outsyder Archery

Welcome to Outsyder Archery! We are Marc and Katie Britton, the passionate owners behind this venture, and we’re excited to share with you our love for 3D archery and high-quality 3D targets.

With nearly two decades of experience, our archery journey began in our native England and has flourished over the last 13 years here in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. We’ve spent a lot of time shooting bows over the years, particularly 3D archery in the “Traditional” Class (formerly known as “Instinctive” Class) where archers shoot unsighted recurve bows at unknown distances.

Our commitment and passion has led us to the highest levels of the sport, shooting at the last three World Archery 3D Championships:

• Both of us proudly represented Canada on the National Team in 2019 in Alberta, Canada, with Marc placing 7th and Katie finishing 12th.
• Marc continued to represent Canada at the 2022 World Archery 3D Championships in Italy in 2022.

Katie followed suit, representing Canada at the 2024 World Archery 3D Championships in Slovenia, securing an impressive 5th place finish.

While our hearts lie with recurve and traditional shooting, our journey has also seen us dabble in various forms of archery, from the precision of compound bows to the the rustic charm of longbows with wooden arrows..and everything inbetween. This diverse experience has given us a solid understanding of different archery disciplines and their unique demands.

Beyond competitive shooting, we’re deeply invested in the archery community. We currently serve as the Directors of Archery for the Kamloops Bowbenders, part of the Kamloops Target Sports Association, a role we’ve undertaken on and off since 2013. We also organize and run the second largest shoot in Canada, The Badlands 3D Shoot which is hosted by the KTSA in Kamloops. The shoot has been going from strength to strength each year and we are nearing participation of 400 archers!

Our years in the Directorship position and organizing a big 3D shoot annually, has  given us an invaluable insight into the needs of archery clubs and individuals when it comes to quality 3D targets. 

Driven by our personal experience and a desire to bring the best to Canadian archers, Outsyder Archery is proud to be a brand new dealer for SRT 3D Targets, and we are directly importing these exceptional 3D archery targets from Italy.

We understand that Canadian archers have faced challenges with the cost of certain imported targets, often inflated by tariffs. By bringing into Canada, SRT 3D Targets directly from Italy, Outsyder Archery aims to provide a premium, world-class product with superior performance and durability, offering excellent value to our fellow archers across Canada.
